Celly Cel is a Vallejo original who launched his career on his own Realside Records label in 1992.
His 1996 album Killa Kali, released through Sick Wid It / Jive, carried "It's Goin' Down," a Bay Area staple that was certified Gold by the RIAA in 2026.
He is a longtime collaborator of E-40 and B-Legit, and a go-to for authentic Bay Area slap.
